Tuxedo
The tuxedo is a man’s dress suit of clothes in the semi-formal, black tie evening dress convention. The tuxedo to be used depends on two basic factors: the degree of formality and the time of day the ceremony takes place. “Black Tie” is for formal occasions after 6 PM. White formal shirt, black-patent finish shoes, vest or cummerbund, black bowtie are de rigueur. Ultra-formal eveningwear requires a tailcoat in black, white or colour. Tie and vest to match tailcoat with a white wing-collar shirt. If the groom wears a tailcoat, the ushers/groomsmen can wear either tailcoat or regular jacket.
